Choose the films before filling the phone
A journey with patchy reception is easier when the movie choice is already made. Save a few titles here, compare their running times and choose the edition you want through Watch now. Use the viewing app's own offline-download function where one is available. My List saves title links, not movie files.
Test one complete setup
- Confirm the film's year and edition before downloading.
- Select the intended audio and subtitle languages.
- Check the app's displayed download size and leave spare device storage.
- Test that the prepared movie opens offline before departure.
- Read any expiry or account requirements shown by the viewing app.
Quality labels are not file sizes
A 1080p label does not tell you exactly how much space a film will occupy. Duration, codec and bitrate all matter. Our calculator provides a duration-and-bitrate estimate, while the actual download screen gives the more specific size for the chosen edition.
Keep the recommendation even if you postpone it
If storage is tight, leave the remaining films in My List. A list backup is small compared with video and can preserve the choices for another device. There is no need to keep several browser tabs open throughout the journey.
